Under the following dynasties : the Six dynasties (420 - 589); Sui (589 - 618) with the astrologer Xiao Ji; Tang (618 - 906) the k'an-yu becomes a science and divinatory arts integrate in addition to the terrestrial radiant energy, astronomy, geography, topography, numerology and architecture.
Cheng Hsi-I writes the treaties of I-Ching.
The wise Fu-Xi, guard of divinatory arts, discovers to Ho-you U, which described the fundamental essence of all things. To understand it is to understand the invisible organization of the universe and humanity.
Under the Five Dynasties (907 - 960) and Song (960 - 1279), the astrologer Xu Zi Ping proposes the correspondences between the yin and the yang, the 5 phases and 4 seasons.

 

1271 - 1368: under the Yuan dynasty, the first foreign influences appears, a scientific collaboration is established with the Moslem astronomers and Nestorians.

 

1368 - 1644: under the Ming dynasty, construction of the Prohibited City in Beijing. With the Jesuits arrives the Western influence of sciences.
1644 - 1911: under the Qing dynasty, the 2nd emperor Kang Xi (1662-1722) publishes a divinatory treaty, that the 4th emperor, Long Qian (1736 - 1795) reforms. He prefaces the Xieji Bianfang Shu.
